Product Metadata & Pricing Optimisation System
A metadata enrichment and smart pricing layer that combines StockX market data with internal signals to keep Edit London's catalog clean and competitively priced at scale.

Overview
To support Edit London's rapid growth, we built a Product Metadata Enrichment & Smart Pricing System on top of the core Fliproom platform. It ingests StockX product and price data into a dedicated catalogue, links it to Edit London's products and variants, and enriches each inventory record with structured metadata such as model, colourway, release information, and market pricing. This enriched data powers automated listing suggestions, price recommendations per sales channel, and reporting on high-value and underperforming stock. The result is a catalog that stays clean and consistent even as tens of thousands of SKUs flow through the system, while pricing logic adapts automatically to changing market conditions and consignment rules.
Impact
- •Kept tens of thousands of sneaker and streetwear SKUs consistently tagged and enriched with reliable metadata.
- •Improved pricing accuracy and margin by using live StockX and internal signals to drive channel-specific price recommendations.
- •Reduced manual catalog and pricing work for Edit London's team, freeing buyers and operators to focus on higher-value decisions.
- •Provided clear visibility into high-value inventory, ageing stock, and pricing opportunities for investor and operational reporting.
Core Features
- •StockX integration that ingests products, variants, and market price data into a dedicated service and links them to internal products and inventory records.
- •Metadata enrichment pipeline that normalises product attributes (model, colourway, brand, release details) and applies them consistently across the catalog.
- •Smart pricing engine that combines StockX reference prices, consignment rules, and channel-specific fees to recommend prices and payouts per sale channel.
- •Reporting and dashboards that surface high-value items, underpriced or overpriced stock, and inventory segments by value, age, and consignor.
- •APIs and UI flows that let operators override recommendations, lock prices, and run controlled experiments on pricing strategies.
