Overview

To unlock new distribution without duplicating stock, we implemented a Store-to-Store Cross-Selling Platform on top of the Fliproom core. It allows Edit London to create integrations between its own account and partner or consignor accounts, select which products and listings to share, and apply pricing rules that transform source prices and payouts into destination channel terms. Behind the scenes, each integration is represented as structured line items that track mapping status, pricing state, and listing health, while the core inventory and order system ensures that stock levels, consignor payouts, and reporting stay consistent across all participating stores.

Impact

  • Enabled Edit London to distribute inventory across multiple partner stores and accounts without fragmenting stock or data.
  • Gave both host stores and consignors fine-grained control over how inventory is priced and presented on different destination channels.
  • Improved utilisation of high-value and long-tail stock by exposing it to additional demand without operational duplication.
  • Provided a clear audit trail of which items are shared where, on what terms, and with what performance.

Core Features

  • Store-to-store integration model that links a source account and sale channel to one or more destination accounts and channels.
  • Integration line items that manage product mapping, status, and pricing state for each shared SKU.
  • Pricing rules engine that transforms source prices and payouts into destination prices, factoring in fees, margins, and consignment agreements.
  • Monitoring views that highlight integration health, disconnected listings, and inventory coverage across connected stores.
  • Tight coupling with the core inventory and order system so shared listings respect stock levels, reservations, and fulfilment flows.
